Welcome to Mark Orr | Mobile Notary (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, services, and any related features (collectively, the “Services”).

 

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

1. Services Provided

We provide notary public services in compliance with the laws of the State of California.


Our services may include mobile notary work, general notarizations, loan signings, document verification, and other related offerings.

We do not provide legal advice, legal representation, or legal document preparation unless expressly authorized under California law.


If you need legal advice, please consult a licensed attorney.

2. Eligibility

By using our Services, you confirm that you are:
 

  • At least 18 years old,

  • Legally capable of entering into binding agreements, and

  • Using the Services for lawful purposes only.
     

Notary services require you to present valid, acceptable identification as defined under California law.

3. Client Responsibilities

When using our notary services, you agree to:

  • Ensure all documents are complete prior to notarization (no blank spaces).

  • Bring acceptable identification.

  • Confirm your willingness to sign and that you are not under duress.

  • Understand that a notary may refuse service if doing so violates California notarial law.​

You are solely responsible for the contents, accuracy, and legality of any documents submitted for notarization.

4. Fees & Payments

Service fees will be disclosed prior to appointment confirmation.
Payment is due at the time services are rendered unless otherwise agreed.

Additional fees may apply for:

  • Travel or mobile notary services

  • Late cancellations

  • After-hours requests

  • Special handling or printing
     

All fees comply with California’s notary fee guidelines.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us as soon as possible.


Refunds for prepaid services will be issued ASAP, except where fees are non-refundable due to travel time or preparation already completed.

If we must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, any prepaid amounts will be refunded or applied to a new appointment.

6. No Legal Advice

Information or communication provided by us—whether verbal, written, or posted on this site—does not constitute legal advice.


Our role is solely limited to performing notarial acts as defined by California law.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, [Your Business Name] is not liable for:
 

  • Errors or omissions in documents made by you

  • Losses resulting from your misuse of notarized documents

  • Actions taken based on your misunderstanding of legal requirements

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
     

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific notarial service.
